Last Friday was an exciting day in Wimberley – the first annual Wimberley Symposium was held at the community center.
Everything from an Antique Car Show on the parking lot to the introduction of the new HAND Van soon to be seen on the roads of Wimberley providing our seniors with much needed transportation.
Booths geared toward seniors needs were manned by local providers. These booths provided information on services available to assist seniors with a wide range of needs.
There was plenty of fun and entertainment for all. There was music and door prizes along with a few surprises.
Look closely at the pictures and you will see some local seniors doing a line dance through the tables. They were spontaneously joined by vendors and participants alike!
